Evidentiary Standard:

The legally required amount of evidence necessary to achieve a particular criminal justice purpose.

Common evidentiary standards are reasonable suspicion, probable cause, preponderance of the evidence, and beyond a reasonable doubt.  These are also referred to as the degree of certitude.
