Venue:

The geographic area in which a court has jurisdiction.

When referring to courts, the term jurisdiction usually means subject matter jurisdiction, or whether a particular court has the authority to hear a particular type of case.  

A change of venue is a change or transfer of a case from one judicial district to another.
