Course: Introduction
The Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA) is a component of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) that provides support and guidance to the nation’s 93 U.S. Attorneys and their offices.
The EOUSA provides a wide range of services and resources to U.S. Attorneys, including legal training, administrative support, and technological assistance. The office also provides oversight and management of the Department’s Asset Forfeiture Program, which is responsible for the seizure and forfeiture of assets involved in criminal activity.
In addition to supporting U.S. Attorneys, the EOUSA also works to strengthen partnerships between federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and coordinates the Department’s anti-terrorism and anti-drug trafficking efforts. The mission of the EOUSA is to provide U.S. Attorneys with the resources and support they need to effectively enforce federal law and promote justice across the nation.
