What You Will Learn
In this section, you will understand the design and application of surveys and interviews in social science research, including constructing and using various types of questionnaires and interviews. You’ll develop skills in crafting clear, specific, and sensitive survey instruments and interview questions, choosing appropriate formats based on research objectives. Additionally, you’ll evaluate challenges such as nonresponse bias, ensuring representative sampling, and analyzing data, especially from open-ended questions.
