Are you a young, single guy looking to travel the world and experience new cultures? If so, you’re probably considering becoming an expat. But where should you go?

That’s where the Passport Bro Score comes in. The Passport Bro Score is a rating system that I created to help young expats find the best cities to live in. The score is based on a number of factors, including the cost of living, the availability of English speakers, the safety and security of the city, and the overall quality of life.

The Passport Bro Score is different from other expat rating systems (like my standard Passport Score) in a few ways. First, it’s specifically designed for young expats. This means that the factors that are important to older expats, such as the availability of healthcare and retirement planning services, are not as important in the Passport Bro Score.

Second, the Passport Bro Score is more focused on lifestyle factors. This means that the score takes into account things like the availability of nightlife, the quality of the food, and the overall social scene.

Finally, the Passport Bro Score is more subjective than other expat rating systems. This means that the score is based on my own personal experiences and preferences.

If you’re a young expat looking for a great city to live in, I encourage you to check out the Passport Bro Score. The score can help you narrow down your options and find the perfect city for your lifestyle.

Here are some of the factors that are considered in the Passport Bro Score:

  • Cost of living: How much does it cost to live in the city? This includes things like rent, food, transportation, and entertainment.
  • Availability of English speakers: How easy is it to get by in the city without speaking the local language?
  • Safety and security: How safe is the city? This includes things like crime rates, personal safety, and political stability.
  • Overall quality of life: How good is the overall quality of life in the city? This includes things like the healthcare system, the education system, and the transportation system.
  • Nightlife: How good is the nightlife in the city? This includes things like the number of bars and clubs, the variety of music and entertainment, and the overall atmosphere.
  • Food: How good is the food in the city? This includes things like the variety of cuisines, the quality of the ingredients, and the overall affordability.
  • Social scene: How good is the social scene in the city? This includes things like the number of expats, the variety of activities, and the overall ease of meeting new people.

The Passport Bro Score is a great way to find the best cities for young expats. However, it’s important to remember that the score is subjective and based on my own personal preferences.

Here are some of the differences between the Passport Bro Score and a rubric designed for traditional expats who are older and want to settle down on a fixed income:

  • Cost of living: The cost of living is a major factor for traditional expats, who are often on a fixed income. The Passport Bro Score takes into account the cost of living, but it also factors in other factors that are important to young expats, such as the availability of nightlife and the overall social scene.
  • Safety and security: Safety and security is also an important factor for traditional expats. The Passport Bro Score takes into account the safety and security of the city, but it also factors in other factors that are important to young expats, such as the availability of English speakers and the overall quality of life.
  • Overall lifestyle: The Passport Bro Score takes into account a wide range of factors that are important to young expats, such as the nightlife, the food, and the social scene. A rubric designed for traditional expats would likely focus on factors that are more important to older expats, such as the healthcare system, the education system, and the transportation system.

Ultimately, the best way to find the best city for you is to consider your own individual needs and preferences. If you’re a young expat who is looking for a city with a vibrant nightlife and a great social scene, the Passport Bro Score is a great place to start. However, if you’re a traditional expat who is looking for a city with a low cost of living and a safe and secure environment, you may want to consider using my Passport Score rating system.
