Preparation Steps
- Slice the sausage into ¼ inch “wheels” and finely dice the onion.
- Saute the sausage and onions in a large skillet until fully cooked.
- In a large pot, combine turnip greens, chicken broth, tomatoes and green chilis, black-eyed peas, great northern beans, and chili beans. Bring to a boil.
- Once the sausage and onions are fully cooked, add them to the pot with other ingredients.
