What You Will Learn
In this section, you will explore the advantages and disadvantages of probation, as well as the major job duties of probation officers. You will also learn about the various sanctions categorized under community corrections and compare and contrast probation with parole. Additionally, you will understand the concept of intermediate sanctions and discover the programs that fall under this category.
