Myths and Lies
One of the biggest impediments for the average person becoming a successful investor is the sheer volume of misinformation that is out there. Some of this misinformation comes from snake oil salesmen that are trying to get rich convincing you that they can sell you the secret to getting rich. Some of it comes from those who sincerely believe things that academic research has shown to be false.
